Rather than solely focusing on reaching a certain weight or dress size, think about how you want to feel in your body.

Maybe you want to feel energized, confident, or strong start with the feeling and then move with aligned action.


By identifying these desired feelings, you can create a more meaningful and motivating goal. When you prioritize feeling good, you're more likely to make healthy choices that support your overall well-being. Focusing on desired feelings can help shift your mindset from a negative, restrictive mindset to a more positive, empowering one, ultimately leading to more sustainable and enjoyable weight loss.


The nervous system plays a critical role in our body's ability to digest food and manage weight. When we experience stress, our nervous system responds by triggering the fight or flight response, which can slow down digestion and negatively impact our ability to lose weight. When the body is in a state of stress, it redirects blood flow away from the digestive system and towards the muscles, lungs, and heart, preparing the body for physical activity. This response can lead to a range of digestive issues. Chronic stress can lead to hormonal imbalances, such as increased levels of cortisol, which can contribute to weight gain and difficulty losing weight.
